KKSC Winter Ride

Welcome to the KKSC Winter Ride, a youth ski and snowboard shuttle service designed to offer safe, convenient, and enjoyable transportation for young riders to the slopes of Mt. Baker Ski Area! Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced skier or snowboarder, this service is the perfect way to ensure they have a fun and exciting day in the snow.

Safety

We prioritize the safety of every rider. Our drivers are specially trained to handle winter road conditions, ensuring a smooth and secure ride to the mountain. Additionally, three adult chaperones will be on board every trip to supervise and assist riders.

Comfort

Riders will enjoy a warm environment with cozy seating. There’s plenty of storage for ski and snowboard gear, so everyone’s equipment is safely stowed for the journey.

Convenience

For your convenience, the bus picks up and drops off riders at Sunset Square in the At Home parking lot, making it easy for parents and guardians to manage drop-off and pick-up.

Who Can Ride?

The shuttle service is open to skiers and snowboarders from 6th grade to 12th grade, accommodating all skill levels. New riders to the program are required to sign up for lessons through Mt. Baker Ski Area. After registering for transportation with us, you’ll receive an email with links to discounted lessons, rentals and lift passes.

2025 Season details

Registration for the 2025 season will open Fall 2024. Stay tuned!

Dates: 4 consecutive Saturdays in March 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd

Pick-Up Location: Sunset Square – At Home Parking Lot

Pick-Up Time: Please arrive by 6:45AM; bus departs promptly at 7:00AM

Drop-Off Location: Sunset Square – At Home Parking Lot

Drop-Off Time: Bus arrives no later than 4:45PM
